I first met Steve Bonner back in October 2008 when he emailed me and requested the Med International invoice for his 1971 Husqvarna 400. It was MI-2226 sold to Valerians in Los Angeles. He had told me the story on how he obtained the bike that originated from Steve McQueen from his friend Randy. Steve was also employed in the film industry for 40 years.

Through contacts, Steve was able to obtain California DMV records for the bike.

Well Steve broke the stock Husky fenders and gastank down and added in a desert tank and plastic fenders. You can see in the pictures.

Recently Steve put all the stock parts back on and cleaned the bike up. Added some new parts such as cables, grips, rubber pieces and a set of John LeFevre's alloy fenders.
